Laura grew up striving for success in a non-conventional world. The only female in her family’s small screen manufacturing business in Winnipeg, she spent her spring and summer vacations wearing coveralls, covered in grease and weaving screen alongside her father and brother.
This formative environment taught her that dedication, adaptability and perseverance pay off. It also ignited her interest in helping organizations grow and passion for seeking out practical, innovative and unique perspectives to create that growth.
Laura’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Commerce Honours, a Bachelors of Education and a certificate in Information Technology Project Management. These educational pursuits and 20 years of hands-on organizational development enable Laura to facilitate learning and process improvement that empowers organizations and their people to achieve efficiency, productivity and profitability.
Laura has engaged with many industry leaders in diverse organizational improvement projects and, over the years, observation and experience has clarified that people are the differentiating ingredient in any endeavour. Therefore, Laura’s dual drive to unleash the inherent talent, wisdom and creativity of people as well as facilitate extraordinary results in personal and organizational performance is what she believes will not only help clients achieve their goals but also enrich the global community into which her two cherished daughters journey forth.
